FAQs

Can I book an initial session?

You can book a session to talk through your issue and see if counselling feels right for you.  We can explore how you are feeling, what you need from counselling and how we might work together.  There is no obligation to continue if it doesn't suit you.

What are your fees?

My fees are £50 for a 50-minute session.

How does payment work?

I accept payment in advance via BACS.

How long does counselling last?

Each individual session lasts 50 minutes.  Sessions normally take place at the same time each week, unless otherwise agreed.  I offer short-term and open-ended counselling.

Do you offer concessions?

When possible, I offer a concessionary rate for trainee counsellors.

Where does the session take place?

I offer online, telephone and face to face sessions which take place in my private, confidential counselling room in central Faversham.

Can you answer my questions?

To help you find out more, I offer a no-obligation, 15-minute introductory consultation free of charge.  Please call me on 07835 938042 or email me at albcounselling@gmail.com to arrange this.

Are you professionally registered?

I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.  I can be found on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, the BACP Therapist Directory at www.bacp.co.uk and the Counselling Directory at www.counselling-directory.org.uk
