My Story
I am no stranger to grief.

As a child, I experienced sudden and traumatic loss. For a long time, I felt an internal, nagging sensation that wouldn't go away. Something felt wrong but I didn’t understand what. At the time, if I had known the right questions to ask, maybe things could have been different. Maybe.

From the world around me, the message I understood was, "If I work harder, I will feel better". This paved the way for becoming someone who constantly lived in survival mode. I burned out quickly and struggled with the pressures of working myself into the ground for the sake of "self-improvement". Chasing elusive milestones that always seemed to be slightly out of my reach.
In the years that followed, I experienced persistent lack of confidence, self-doubt, difficulty trusting the world around me. Painful memories surfaced in relationships on a loop. I couldn't untangle what they meant.

Professional counselling services
It was the discovery of a counselling relationship that started me on my healing journey. The warmth and gentle presence of my counsellor provided a welcome experience of emotional safety and empathy. Her compassion made me glow inside. I didn’t know then that this approach would later form the foundation of what I now offer my clients. I have experienced this phenomenon from the inside out. I know it in my core. Counselling is not just a job - it's also a huge part of who I am.

Today, I am much happier with the balance in my life. I have been able to heal the little girl who didn't know which way to turn, and trust again. It is my privilege to help others do the same and I am so grateful for the work I do.
